Great place to stay with our 4 shelties. Adorable doggy decor, clean little house. Great fenced patio and yard. Pool for the humans is large and beautiful. Loved seeing wildlife on the property. Quiet but close to lots of things to do in the area. Have already made reservations to go back!

A Perfect Dog-Friendly Getaway in the Poconos! My mom and I took a quick trip to the Poconos with our two dogs and stayed at the Delaware Chalet — and it was absolutely perfect. The chalet was clean, cozy, and charmingly decorated with dog-friendly touches that made us feel right at home. The air conditioning was great for the summer days, and the private doggie pool was such a fun perk! Each morning, we enjoyed our coffee on the deck overlooking the stunning, peaceful views. It was so tranquil — the kind of place where you can truly relax. The nearby clubhouse pool was clean and beautifully maintained, a great spot to cool off and unwind. One of our favorite parts of the trip was walking the dogs on the nearby trails. The path winds through a lush, green forest with a lovely flowing creek — a picture-perfect nature escape. We will definitely be back with our pups. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a quiet, dog-friendly retreat in the mountains!

We stayed in Apache and we loved it! There was so much room for 2 of us plus my mastiff! Everything was clean and the dog motif was so cute! I love that the place was so accommodating to dogs! I definitely would stay there again! Great job, guys! Thank you for making our trip more enjoyable

We enjoyed the people pool & hot tub. The fire pit was fun, but having a physical disability, made having to drive to where the firewood was kept & carry it back to the fire pit, a bit difficult for us. If the firewood was kept right near the fire pit, that would’ve made it more enjoyable. Also, I feel like sand should be kept near the fire pit, to be put on the embers to make sure the flames are fully doused. Also, the railing on the right side of the steps into the Delaware chalet was loose.

⸻ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My best friend and I stayed at Good Dog Vacations at Big Valley Resort for 3 nights with our pups, and it was absolutely wonderful! The chalet was spacious, cozy, and so comfortable for both us and the dogs (they were instantly excited exploring every inch of it). The property itself is a dream for dog owners — a fenced-in yard, a beautiful deck overlooking the landscaped grounds, and plenty of open space to play ball or just relax. We especially loved the river nature trail and the wide open field where my city dog got to run off-leash safely — the grounds are so impeccably maintained it felt like a postcard at every turn. Even though we came in the fall and didn’t get to use the pool, it looked amazing, and we can’t wait to come back in the summer. The resort is also perfectly located near a few charming towns with bakeries, farmers markets, and little shops — it honestly felt like stepping into an episode of Gilmore Girls. Best of all, the dogs were happily tired out from all the outdoor fun, which gave us guilt-free time to explore the local towns. We left with two very happy, very sleepy pups and already can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a true dog-friendly getaway in the Poconos!

The cottage was comfortable when traveling with a dog. Since it hadn't been updated for some time, I didn't have to worry about my dog hurting the floor etc. It was nice to find all the extras for the pup. It had a wonderful, fenced yard for playing, there were a couple of towels for them, extra large poop bags, and even a treat jar for our use. The trails for dog walking were great and we spent a lot of time on the resort grounds. We even had a couple of deer visit on the last 2 mornings. You will not find 5 star accommodations here, but it is a great place to vacation with your pup!

Our first time here and we had a blast. Nice fenced yard for our puppy and nice pool. We went to the adult pool and it was a nice touch. Thanks for providing the paper products and other amenities. The whole process was smooth from start to finish. Hoping to be back really soon.

Second year here and we absolutely live it. We do girls and the pups time away. They pups love the freedom to run in the woods and swim in the creek and just chill! We girls love the time to spend with each other and the pups! What could be better. The cabins are well appointed and very clean. Can't wait until next year!!
